Online and In-Person Confirmation Resource
These sessions have been collated to work both online and in-person. The aim of this resource is to be flexible especially for this season we are all in.
Every Session has a theme. These session titles and some of the content have come from the CIYD I Believe Resource (with permission from CIYD). You have the freedom to use the sessions in whatever order you choose as you may feel that a specific order would work better for your group.
Each session is a PowerPoint and comes in 2 formats; standard and widescreen, again, for the use of visuals both online and in-person.
The sessions will follow the same format every week which can be helpful. There are 4 sections:
Game: There is a PDF Document with games written out in full HERE. Doing one game at the start helps people feel at ease and it’s a good introduction!
Activity: Each session has an interactive exercise. This will be getting them to use their Bibles to find certain verses the quickest. The majority of the verses are connected to the theme of that week.
Talk/Discussion: This is where you have the freedom to do whatever type of input you want. There are discussion questions afterwards but you do not need to use these if you have some of your own. There are additional resources that you can use too.
Reflection: At the end of each session, there is a time to reflect on what they have learned and if the session was helpful. You might want to introduce something of your own and again, please feel free to do that.
This resource is a guide, you are free to use one part and leave out what you please.
